A letter from our elementary principal…

Welcome to Covenant Christian School, where we are blessed to be a part of a critical partnership triangle of school, parents, and church. Our mission is to equip students not only to succeed academically, but also to look to Christ for their strength and direction.  We are focused on building an instructional program that is developmentally appropriate, academically challenging, and Christ centered.

Our elementary school program includes students in grades PK4- 6th grade. We also share the campus with our upper school students in grades 7-12, which creates a unique learning community that enables one of our school’s distinctives : A partnership with our upper school that fosters relationships between young and old, and creates leadership opportunities  for our older students. Our elementary school also offers small group learning; a thematic challenge program and Math Olympiad for advanced students; a dynamic weekly chapel; specials classes including art, library, music, PE, computer, and STEM Maker Space; and opportunities for junior varsity and varsity level sports for our sixth graders.

As a mom of three CCS students, I can confidently say that my husband and I are blessed to have a school that is an extension of our home. I can bring them to school each day certain that what is being taught and shared at school supports our efforts as parents. Our kids’ time at CCS is nearly over, but they are departing with the strong academic base needed to face the challenging work of college. But more importantly, they are ready spiritually to launch into the world and share their faith with others.

As a unified school, we are committed to excellence in education while fostering a Biblical worldview in our students. We would love for you to visit our school and see what makes CCS a great place to grow and learn! You can ask for me by name - I love to tell people about Covenant!
